Author Information: Edwin
Hatch (1835–1889) graduated from Pembroke College,
Oxford, and served as a minister, professor, theologian, and
Septuagint scholar. Among the many books and articles to his credit
are The Organization of the Early Christian Churches, The
Growth of Church Institutions, Essays in Biblical Greek,
and The Influence of Greek Ideas and Usages upon the Christian
Church.
Henry A. Redpath (1848–1908) was
a minister and biblical scholar. He graduated from Oxford where he
later served as a Grinfield lecturer on the Septuagint. In addition
to completing the Concordance to the Septuagint, he
authored several books and articles.
