Real-Time Faith Bible Study Guides
Periodical

Annual subscription in USA
Introducing an all-new quarterly called Real-Time Faith. RTF
is just for earliteens. It targets the issues that are BIG
in the lives of 12- to 14-year-olds and answers the
questions that are on their minds. (Because Real-Time Faith
makes a special effort to match the maturity of 12- to
14-year-olds it is not recommended for juniors or older
youth.)
A Fresh New Format
This Bible study guide isn't meant to be read like a usual
magazine or book. Each lesson comes out of the binding to be
used as a separate sheet in Sabbath School on Sabbath and
then through the following week. The teacher may send this
Bible study guide home with the student, or may keep it at
Sabbath School.

It's Your Choice
Real-Time Faith is an alternative lesson plan. The
PowerPoints Teacher's Guide and Lessons will still be
available for earliteen classes. Choose the one that works
best for you and your students.
What Are the Lessons About
This curriculum emphasizes God's kingdom of grace, being a
recruited agent (steward, citizen) of that kingdom, and the
battle between it and the kingdom of evil. Being in God's
kingdom requires action-being doers and not just listeners
(James 1:22). The first lesson of each quarter of the
two-year cycle is a different portion of the Sermon on the
Mount which is "at once Christ's inaugural address as
King of the kingdom of grace and also the constitution of
the kingdom" (Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary,
vol. 5, p. 322).
After the first lesson of each quarter, each of the other
twelve lessons (or sets of lessons) are about a different
challenge, right, or privilege in the "real-time"
of being an agent of God's kingdom. A Christian never knows
what he or she will be encountering next. The curriculum
includes a Web site (http://RealTimeFaith.adventist.org)
at which e-teens can explore each week's topic with other
e-teens, and where teachers can access additional resources
and exchange ideas.
Please Note: quarterly subscriptions take 6 - 8 weeks to
begin. An additional order may be made for the current issue
of a quarterly to start with the current lessons. Otherwise
it will be assumed that the subscription will start with the
next quarter. Four issues yearly.
